parents of queer + trans teens/adults

If your child has come out as queer or trans, whether in adolescence or adulthood, I imagine you’ve had your own variance of experiences as a parent. You feel deep, profound love and support for your kid while also holding questions, fears, or uncertainty about how to navigate this new and unfamiliar territory. Most folks simply want to get it right and stay close to their child, but aren’t always sure where to start.

I love to work with parents who want to show up with more understanding, care, and compassion as they support their queer or trans child. Whether your child has been out for years, recently came out, or is beginning to explore their sexuality, gender, or starting to transition, sitting with me can offer a space to talk openly about what this experience has been like for you. We will explore your experience in navigating your relationship with your kiddo, holding love and ally-ship at the core.

Together, we can make room for your questions and emotions while also focusing on how to strengthen trust, communication, and connection with your kid and your family as a whole. My hope is to support families in moving toward greater openness, advocacy, and a deeper sense of safety and belonging for all of you.
